This is a decent food. No corn or peas. I have 5 different kibbles in my mix.

I'm giving 4 stars because although I love the brand and food, I hate that it's only a 4lb bag option. I feel there should be a 25lb bag option as well. The one size doesn't help and I've had to switch to a different brand for a bulk option sadly.

This is an excellent quality food for ferrets. I love the size and getting them switched from that nasty Marshall stinky food was a breeze. I would recommend this food to anyone that is planning to own a ferret or has ferrets. Just fyi for some folks reviews Ive read, when introducing a new food to a ferret, ferrets are picky anyways, just because they want eat the food doesn’t mean they absolutely don’t like it. My ferrets for a long time wouldn’t touch any real meat. I had to introduce the meat constantly. Being the carnivores that they are, it takes time and patience and effort. If you don’t want to put any effort into ferrets, I suggest you get a goldfish because these exotic pets you have to really take of. The only slight problem I do have with this food is Oxbow claims there is no starches in this kibble but on the back of the bag claims there is rice flour in the ingredients list. Other than that, this is a great food to offer your floofs. I do believe that Oxbow wants to make a better kibble for ferrets and actually care about them unlike the other companies I see that think it’s okay to put peas in the ferrets kibble which isn’t good for them.

I love this food! Mine used to be on Marshall and wysong. After starting oxbow they no longer smell and their poop is lees smelly too! Hope oxbow makes a bigger bag soon!!
