I have an older yellow lab that gets bored really easily. He gets bored with kongs and is an extreme chewer so rawhides or other chewies disappear SUPER fast! He is very intelligent and I was thinking of getting him a puzzle toy that involves treats as he is EXTREMELY food motivated! Since he's so smart should I still start him on the most basic puzzle or try something harder? I don't want to waste money on toys he'll go through really fast. And are there any other sorts of toys you can suggest?
Looking for a good chew toy for Jasper,we were giving him the purina dental chewz but now it seems like he is eating them to fast,tried a few different ones but don't seem to last,any suggestions?
I adopted a very overweight dog. I am working on weight management and she has lost some weight but I'm concerned as she gobbles her food down literally in a minute. Trying to keep Kyro's weight. What's a 'high value" low calorie treat to use while training? Rice cakes and String Beans don't seem to be "high value" enough. Something new, Why does Kyro rub his snout on couch after a walk? Vet has said all is good but, Why does Kyro sometimes shake his head? It has something to do with his ears. I've cleaned his ears and they do not smell.

My sister, parents, and I are all very busy people, and while we manage to take Conan for a walk most days, and there’s almost always someone home with him, I feel like he’s not getting enough mental and physical stimulation. He’s still young and very energetic. He’s not super interested in kibble-dispensers, unless there are HIGH quality treats, because he’s never been very food-motivated. sorry they’re not pedigree tasty bites. we just keep these snacks in that package because the pedigree one closes, and the original package for this snack doesn’t, so when the pedigree ones were done we put this small bones there. they’re called “snack mini-bone” by activpet but they’re no available in the US. i do remember that in the original package it said it was good as a reward for exercise.
Made dog a treat dispenser from 1 water bottle. Normal plastic bottle with a hole on the side. I filled it with dog biscuits and then used a hot knife to make the hole ( with the biscuits inside.) I'm concerned if the biscuits are safe to eat.
My cat has been on nature variety pride flaked tuna cat food cans for a while and he loves it. Recently I have been treating him with a little orijen chicken formula kibbles here and there then yesterday and today he has been having diaherra, I am guess it is the orijen? He has no other symptom but that, would total-botic probotic for cats given daily help his diaherra? Would pumpkin too? As dental treats I give him virbac treats but I am switching to plaque off hard dental treats.
