Hello, I recently found out about DCM in dogs from grain-free diets. I use Orijen food for my 1.5 y/o. It has great ingredients but I don't want to take any chances, are there any brands you would recommend for a large (85-95lbs) lab/Pyrenees mix dog that is about one and a half years old?

I’ve been feeding my dog Performatrin Ultra turkey and potato dog food for a few years now. It is grain free dog food. I’ve been reading articles about grain free not being safe for dogs but when I asked the pet store about it they’ve told me it depends on the ingredients in grain free food and that this brands ingredients are fine. Hello, I am picking up a soon to be 8 week old female lab puppy in 11 days and I am very confused with what brand of puppy food to purchase. Through extensive research, I have come down to three options, Orijen Large Breed Puppy Food, Wellness Core Natural, and Taste of the Wild. What is your opinion on the best brand to purchase? We have been searching and searching and have finally narrowed down our food options to Fromm gold (grain-inclusive) or Orijen (grain free). Any guidance or firm direction on which to go with?
I have a male German Shepherd mix and a female Pitt bull mix; my male is more easier to feed. Honestly will eat anything no problem but my female is more sensitive. Grain free taste of the wild salmon and venison line she likes. No issues with excretion but ever since I switched her skin is bright red with dandruff and more dry. Coat looks thinner, shedding a lot more. I don’t know what else to try. Recommendations?
