I'd like to know the carb percentage, please.
Is this food human grade?
- Absolutely not. This is a boutique brand of food, and will only cause harm to your animal than good. Especially grain free. Please look up DCM in dogs before purchasing. There is no actual nutrition to this brand, or any of the other boutique brands. I would stay away from Orijen. Do not fall for the labels if “human grade” or “organic” when it comes to dog food. You can slap that on anything.

How long is this bag fresh once opening? And is this food okay for puppies to eat?
- I don’t see why not you can’t give it to puppies. I just know that puppy food supposedly has stuff to help him grow up. Ive had the food as long as 2-3 months and it’s been fine. I keep the bag closed or in the plastic bin.

This question is for david elezbeth: Is 30-50% carbs an appropriate amount in dog food? I just started my dog on honest kitchen dehydrated dog food and these are the typical range in carbs. Is this to much? Also some reviewers have posted that their dog had more voluminous stool and went more frequently with bits of food still present in the stool. Is this normal? Chloe seems to be doing fine but I am noticing the bits of food in her stool. Is this ok to continue with this food?
