This food is now made in the USA and missing items that it previously had. Now text Mars owns it we are in trouble you really do not know what is exactly in the food now. Very sad. It is all about money not the pets anymore.

My dog Sosa was getting tired easy and just not much energy I do a little checking around at many foods I couldn’t believe some these foods they sell horrible ingredients but I started reading about orijens and I wanted to give it a try well it’s a home run she loves it and she seems more energetic she’s going on 12 so for me if it helps her I’m in thanks for a wonderful food for our 4 legged family members it means a lot 🌻🌻🥰

Orijen Senior Dog Food Review

I’m on my second bag of Orijen Senior dog food, and my 14-year-old Weimaraner, Bruno, absolutely loves it! As an older dog, it’s important for him to have a diet that supports his health, and Orijen seems to do just that with its high-quality ingredients. Bruno has more energy, and his coat looks great since we made the switch. One thing to note is that he does have some gas, but I think that’s just part of his age—after all, we all pass gas! It doesn’t seem to bother him, and I’m more than satisfied with the overall quality and nutrition this food provides. If you’re looking for a premium option for your senior dog, I’d definitely recommend giving Orijen a try. Bruno’s a fan, and I am too!

This food contains copper proteinate, and doesn’t list the amount. High amounts of this can literally kill your dog over time. Why is there no information on the quantity? Or is that info hidden somewhere?

BE WARY OF ALLERGIC REACTION!!! If I could give zero stars I would. I just bought this food Sunday 6/30 and fed it to my Bernese Mountain Dog Monday for his breakfast and dinner. He had a reaction and his lips swelled up and they turned a brownish-green color and it was painful for him, he was drooling uncontrollably and whining. I've never seen anything like it. I had to dose him with benadryl twice and it took a full day for the swelling to go down. I wasn't sure it was the food that caused the reaction so tested a little bit out the following day and sure enough he swelled right back up within a couple hours, his entire mouth was irritated, his gums were inflamed and he felt awful he couldn't eat much and was very down. There is something wrong with this food. I have returned it to the store and notified them of the problem

    Hello, I have small dogs and they order the red regional rather than the small breed Orijen. I grind up the red regional kibble in a smoothie blender and add low sodium chicken or beef broth diluted with water to moisten the ground up kibble.
