Two paws up!
My kitten devours this pâté. I love the quality of the ingredients and the whole prey diet that Orijen provides. I only wish there was an adult version of this pâté, as the only options I’ve found are chunks or shreds, which she’s not a big fan of. Overall, it’s been a fantastic choice for her so far!

Excellent kitten food
Kittens love the texture and flavor. Biologically appropriate and overall one of the best kitten foods I could find in my exhaustive research. Happy with this all around. My senior cat who passed away earlier this year loved this brand too, and flourished on it for many years before unfortunate circumstances caused her to move to a prescription diet.

We both love it!!
I bought this October 13th with the matching dry kibble. I slowly transitioned from my old kibble to Orijen and my kitten loved it but once he was 100% transitioned over I introduced the wet food. Now that I’ve introduced the can food, he will not eat the kibble any other way!! He'll just go to the closet door, where I keep his food at, and just meow till I get it out. Once he sees the can he starts purring and talking lol.

Not a hit!
I have a really fussy kitten. I have tried almost 20 to 30 different brands / flavors of wet food but he will only liked a couple & would eat them for every meal & then gets bored. I was really hoping this would be one of the brands / flavors he would eat but he didn't even take a bite. Just smelled & walked away. My older cat, who really loves kitten wet food & if he has his way would only eat that, also did not enjoy this wet food. he took a couple of bites & walked away. Maybe its the sardines that neither of them likes.
Giving it 2 stars because ingredients look good.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Best kitten food I've seen in a long time
I started this canned food with our new kitten because I was drawn to the moisture content and premium ingredients. She goes absolutely bananas when I put her bowl down--devours it every time. I appreciate the fact that it doesn't stink as bad as other canned cat foods, too.

What is the purpose of taurine? Why is it present in the food?
- While high levels of taurine naturally occur in many of the ingredients in our foods, if our minimum standard is not met, we add more taurine to our recipes to ensure pets who eat our foods are getting the complete nutrition they need. Taurine plays an important role in vision, reproduction and heart health. It is for this reason that taurine is supplemented in some of our diets.
