Best low-carb wet food for cats?
I have an 8 month old 10 lb BIG maile kitten.He is very long and has bit paws. I assume he is still growing. How much should I be feeding him: 3 wet 3 oz cans and a little dry food - more or less? I can feel his spine but not his ribs. His wet food is 10% protein, usually chicken or chicken & liver. All is no grain. I keep reading different things.

Hello again! I got some advice from PetCoach earlier today on getting my senior, finicky kitty to not be so picky about his food and it was recommended to try a Small amount of the juice /water from canned chicken in his wet food. could I try a small amount of chicken broth ... low sodium of course because he does have hi blood pressure and takes medicine for it. I've been feeding my cats Candidae food, dry hairball control kibble and wet food 2x/day. They like the dry, but LOVE the wet. However t's quite expensive and that brand only carries 3 oz cans of wet food which makes calculating feeding amounts difficult.
