I have a twelve-year-old cat that has diabetes is this food good for him? He needs to eat high protein and no carbs.
I have a cat that has constipation issues continuously, will this food help him. Is it easy for cats to Digest?
- Try incorporating ground pumkin seeds for constipation, it has the fiber and alot of nutrition and all you do is get quality pumpkin seeds (not the cheap ones) and then put them in the blender or processor and gring to a meal, put in container to store in fridge...give two tablspooon in wet food or add some water and our cats love it. It helps to make a stool, also steam fresh pumpkin, freeze in chunks then add to their food. Both will cure constipation as both are high in fiber. When I don't have pumkin I just use any squash. Best of luck.

- Hi Phileta! "Fresh & Raw" refers to the ingredients prior to cooking. The end product no longer contains raw ingredients as they have been through the extrusion process. Why does the Orijen Cat and Kitten package no longer show the word "kitten", yet the description under the bag shows "Cat and Kitten". The first bag I bought showed "Cat and Kitten" on the bag - now I can only find the bag that says "Cat"
- To make it easier for Pet Lovers to choose a suitable diet, we have separated ORIJEN Cat & Kitten into new ORIJEN Original for adult cats and ORIJEN Kitten for growing kittens. We would recommend the new ORIJEN Kitten formula if your cat is under one year of age.

I see this was changed from Cat & Kitten to just cat, and theres now a seperate kitten food.. Is the recipe the same? Should I swap my kitten over to the kitten diet? Thanks!
- We have separated ORIJEN Cat & Kitten into new ORIJEN Original for adult cats and ORIJEN Kitten for growing kittens. If you have a kitten, we would recommend feeding ORIJEN Kitten.
