Isla the Goldendoodle actually likes this food!

Alice

We just switched to Orijen because I like the raw and freeze dried meats and the healthy grains. And chatGPT said it was a great food and it said it was unbiased—-can we believe that????? lol We transitioned our golden doodle and she actually finds interest in this food and eats the whole bowl daily. Our last food would stay in the bowl for a couple of days. Which saved us money…but felt bad for her! lol Her poop is perfect, eyes are bright and she doesn’t have bad breath so all is well in the world! ☺️

We bought this dog food in an effort to transition from the puppy formula to the original adult and we have had nothing but issues. From loose stools, to intermittent diarrhea and 2 vet visits. Something is off with this formula or the bag was bad. Do not recommend.

Was a great product until it was sold to an American company! They took what was the best dog food on the market and made it into junk!

Highly recommend Orijen dog food

My 3 y/o Aussiedoodle has been eating Orijen since she was 8 weeks old and she loves it! I rotate formulas so that she doesn’t get bored, with slow transitions she doesn’t have any GI troubles. I watch many types of dogs and they are always trying to steal her food - I use the Orijen kibble it as treats for visiting pups. Additionally, the feeding amounts are lower than other foods, so her stools are dnaller which leans less poop to pickup! The food quality is great and there are so many options to choose from. Highly recommend this food!

orijen amazing grains

I asked my vet about grain vs. grain-free dog food for my GSD. She only recommends food with grains as the grain-free has been associated with dilated cardiomyopathy. My dog seems to like this food and has no gastrointestinal issues with it. The only con....it is very pricey. Wish they had a buy 10 get 1 free like some of the other brands.

Yes, I recommend this product.

We switched our dog to Orijen last month and have noticed drastic changes in her coat and energy levels. She has also quit itching herself and no longer has eye boogies. I credit all of these things to the change in her diet and we will only feed our dog Orijen from here on out. Not to mention she absolutely loves it!

Disappointing transition from Orijen AG Puppy

Jspringer

Transitioned two ESS Field pups over from Farmina Ancient Grains Puppy (Lamb) to Orijen in pursuit of fresher food and lower carbs in a grain inclusive diet in preparation for adulthood. First step of transition was to Amazing Grains Puppy which went perfectly. Both pups did very well on this diet eating their bowls voraciously with the resultant healthy stool. Now at adulthood, I am gradually transitioning to Orijen Amazing Grains Original Adult. Logically, this seemed like the most natural adult formula to move to and I anticipated an effortless transition. However, that has not been the case. We have been at a 50/50 blend for the last ten days and both pups have a diminished desire for dinner time and my little girl now has loose stools with intermittent diarrhea. I recognize that there are differences in the formulas but, in advance, they appeared to be more trivial than the results have borne them out to be in practice. For me, I will be considering another adulthood rotation to Victor Nutra Pro which the pups were doing very well on before the recent recall which resulted in my aforementioned use of Farmina.
