Be careful if you give them to marine fish and even more so if you have angelfish, everything was perfect until I wanted to vary their diet with this algae and SURPRISE three angels became ill with the same symptoms. Parameters were checked to eliminate the idea of poor water conditions and everything came out fine, except that the algae, apart from making a mess, made them sick. Investigate further if you want a $10 product and expose your pets to more than $100, I do not recommend it.

Plecostomus always eats all of this - there is never any leftover in the tank. It does need to be clipped or weighted down, otherwise it will float around.

I have two mystery snails, Sven and Dmitri, and they are so awesome! Sven is a picky eater though and may I say this is his FAVORITE! I’ve never seen him chimp down on anything quite like this stuff!

They seemed like a good idea and the reviews all looked mostly positive. But our 2 Fancy Oranda wanted absolutely nothing to do with it. We had a 3 inch piece held by a clip inside their tank and not one nibble in 12 hrs. They didn’t even want to examine it. So we decided to remove it after letting them have it in there overnight and the next morning, right when we touched it, the whole thing fell to pieces and made a mess all over the tank :-/ ! Luckily we were scheduled to clean the tank the next day anyway, so we went ahead & cleaned it then. But our Oranda, who absolutely love kale, arugula, spinach and peas and their high quality Repashy freshly mixed food cubes, and always seem hungry!, felt this seaweed wasn’t worth even trying. And we didn’t like the mess it made.
