These pellets don't sink. If you soak them first, they dissolve as soon as they hit the water column. I bought them instead of Hikari to save some money and will never do that again.

No, I do not recommend this product.

These pellets DO NOT SINK, and are a waste if bought for bottom dwellers. Doesn't Omega One test these before labeling them as sinking???

No, I do not recommend this product.

Floating pellets not good for bottom feeders

Hokie74

I bought this about one month ago, and even though it indicates the pellets are "sinking", all of them float on the top for at least 20 minutes. I tried to soak them in a bowl, but it takes a lot of attention this way. I am going to toss these and get another brand that the bottom feeder would be happy with. The floating food is tortuous for the catfish and pleco. Believe me, nothing worse than a mad pleco.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Are these good for striped raphael catfish.

Do omega one shrimp pellets cloud water

    1. Not in my experience. The shrimp graze in them until they dissolve at the end.
