I want to make sure my dog has adequate amounts of omega 3 in her diet. I give her a fish oil capsule daily. If I also give her a fish based kibble (eg. Orijen six fish) several times per week (3-4) would this also help with getting more omegas in? the only drawback is having two bags of kibble open at once. One 4/5 pound bag lasts me 30 days. So the bags would be open for about two months. I figure that this is still ok. They are usually resealable bags. If not I use a bag clip.
Best foods for 29gallon tank with 4Rosaline Sharks, 4Congo Tetras, 1large bushy nosed plecostamus. Vitamins?

35 lb 5 month boxer. How much food/day? Currently eating petco brand puppy formula
my dogs are on their 2nd day of raw meat diet (chicken feet) and I give Cholo 1,000mg fish oil every night for his arthritis. what bothers me is his poop, it's dry and crumbly. like this is fresh out of him. my other dog, Nice-Nice is eating the same thing (well, she gets to have the toes), but her poop is firm and normal. Cholo gets the harder and bigger part of the feet as Nice-Nice is having trouble eating the bigger part. they both get enough water so I doubt it's dehydration. thank you! <3
My Betta fish keeps spitting out its food. I feed it "XL color granules" mixed with "color flakes" its tank mate is a molly. I heard you can get bloodworms and soak them in garlic guard and they will eat it. Is this true? Thank you. -Cristina
Is possible that the fish oil that's in my dogs food could become oxidized after a while? It takes me a month to go through one small bag. will there still be the advertised amounts of omega 3's? thanks!
Hi, What specific type of the Oxbow Critical Care formula would you suggest for a box turtle that is not eating? I see they have different types. Does that have to be given orally or could this be mixed with water in a container where you can soak the turtle so that she gets those nutrients. How many times per week would you use the formula? Thanks so much
I forgot to mention I compared the values of each fish oil and both were very similar per 1/4 tsp. so why would RX recommend double? RX vitamins had 750 mg of fish oil, 135 mg of EPA and 90 mg of DHA. Nordic naturals had 1,000 mg of fish oil, 150 mg of EPA and 90 mg of DHA.
Why do liquid fish oils recommend twice to triple the dose of gel cap fish oils? Just curious. Is it because they presume the liquid fish oils will go rancid faster. RX vitamins isn't a pump bottle it's a flip top, so I'm assuming it doesn't go rancid as fast. Is this true or will it go rancid faster? If I give half the dose will she still be getting adequate amounts of omega 3? Thanks! I like Nordic naturals but I like that RX vitamins has added vitamin E, minerals and omega 6.
My 14 year old American Pit Mix has a food allergy and we did an elimination diet. I am concerned that she may not be getting enough nutritional value while trying to figure out what she cannot handle. I make her food in a rice cooker. Daily meal split to feed her twice a day: 2 cups of dry rice Makes about 7 to 9 cups cooked 1/4 cup blueberries 2 oz white fish Added after cooked: 1/2 cup of frozen peas and carrots 1 TBS of peanut butter powder 5 pumps of Salmon Oil
Which brand of cat food would be better orijen six fishes or nature variety lid rabbit?
