Good but too hard for senior dogs

My dog loved these chews. Unfortunately I see him struggling a little bit. They seem to be too hard for him since he is a 14 year old Yorkie. His teeth have gotten very brittle. I tried chewing one of them myself and it was a much harder than other brands I had bought. Dentastix or Greenies are softer.
