This chew toy literally saved me hundreds of dollars. I have two 9 month old pups who both have/had double canine teeth. They chewed this toy so aggressively that they loosened the baby canines that were really solid and seemingly not budging. One dog had just one double canine that this toy helped dislodge and the other had THREE but now is left with two. I’m hoping more aggressive chewing can dislodge at least one more of those double canines so we can try to avoid unnecessary surgery and surgery cost. Double canines can cause issues if not removed such as decay and periodontal disease. Not only has it saved me hundreds of dollars already but it’s also helped with cleaning which has been great. One of my pups puts up a good fight when it comes to brushing so this toy has been really good for us. The one issue I’ve come across is the fact that my pups will only focus on one side of the toy and ignore the other perfectly good and unused side. Eventually, with enough chewing, the toy starts to splinter which they say is normal but the plastic will start to shed and your dog can wind up ingesting tiny bits. To combat this and not waste money, my solution was to sand it down with my electric rotating sander which smoothed out the splintering. This actually worked really well and my pups have had continuous use out of it.

I bought this because my dog’s teeth were looking a little grungy. It cracked off the tip of one of his teeth. He seemed to really enjoy it until I had to throw it away.

My dog LOVES to chew. She has ground her teeth on everything I've offered her so far, except fot this. She has attempted to use it on occasion, but generally ignores it.

    Yes. As with all chew bones and toys, keep an eye out for broken and frayed pieces. Also, if he is an aggressive chewer make sure to take it away if the product becomes too sharp.
