my girl ( maltese) only eats dry food... but the other dry foods are staining her mouth area... Is this dry food a light color ?

However, porphyrin is a naturally occurring enzyme found in a dog's saliva and tears. It causes the hair to turn red or darker in appearance when exposed to sunlight. This is a conversation that can be had with your veterinarian to see if they may have any options to help with the staining as well!
