Is the size of the kibble suitable for small breeds, e.g., a 7 lb chihuahua?
- About the size of a dime and breaks up easily when my Dogs eat it. So shouldn't be a problem.

My 10 yr old lab lost 6 lbs when taken off dry food. He gets homecooked. Alternating between lean ground beef, turkey, white meat chicken. Veggies Sweet potatoes, yellow squash, green beans. He was a perfect weight. Elimating 1 cup of dry food per day added to homecooked was meant to be a healthy choice not for weight loss. Vet wants him to put the weight back. What can I add in, read that organic brown rice and Quinoa is not good daily and high in Phosphorus. Suggestions thx

This is Kyro, my 1st dog I've had for 7 months. In 7 months he went from 75lbs to 85. Was feeding 2 cups twice daily of "Diamond All Natural Beef Meal & Rice" with piece of Roast Beef with a teaspoon of some kind of gravy & 1 Milkbone, 1 bully stick, 2 Grain fee treats daily. I cut back to 1 cup with Roast beef twice daily. I don't want to starve him but I want to keep his defined stomach. He won't eat unless the Roast beef & gravy is in his food. Bag of food says 4 cups daily. Any suggestions?

I’m not sure what to do. I feel that Rumple is under weight given that he is 58lbs and was just told that his hips are still immature yet he has only gained 6lbs since March. Weight Loss in Dogs: i have 2 Chihuahua's who have been on a diet with no results. The 1st dog weighs 10 lbs and should 5 to 6 lbs. The 2nd dog weighs 20lbs and should weigh 12 to 14 pounds.
