I’ve been feeding my small-breed dog the Nutro Ultra Chicken, Lamb & Salmon Protein Trio for awhile now, and I’ve seen such a positive difference. The kibble size is perfect for his tiny mouth, and he loves the flavor—he actually gets excited at mealtime, which wasn’t always the case with other brands. What really sold me is the quality of the ingredients. Real chicken is the first ingredient, and I love that it’s free of by-product meals, corn, wheat, and soy. It also has added vitamins and nutrients like omega fatty acids for his coat, and I’ve noticed he’s shedding less and looking shinier. His digestion has been great on this food—no upset stomach, and his energy levels are solid. I also like the smaller 3.5 lb bag because it stays fresh and is easy to store. It’s a little more expensive than basic brands, but honestly, the quality makes it worth every penny. My dog is happy, healthy, and thriving on it, so I’ll definitely keep buying it.
