Review: Nutro Slow Cooked Chicken, Potato, Carrot & Pea Recipe This recipe from Nutro is a real winner in our house. The slow-cooked chicken smells great and looks like real food, with visible chunks of potatoes, carrots, and peas. My dog enjoys every bite and always licks the bowl clean. I love that it’s made with natural ingredients and no artificial flavors or preservatives. It’s gentle on my dog’s stomach and keeps his energy up. Definitely a high-quality, wholesome option that I’ll keep buying.

My dog does not like the loaf style of food. I end up throwing out more than half of it. It's difficult to mix in with her kibble. It also has a tendency to get packed into the corner of the bowl which my dog can't get to. I ordered this by accident, thinking it was stew. It would be nice if Nutro would change their labels so it's easier to identify the stew style from the loaf.

No, I do not recommend this product.

This food is one of my dogs favorites. It has real pieces of potatoes, carrots, and peas that you can see. The cuts of food are a great size. They aren’t really big. It even smells better than most canned foods. It’s not really pricey compared to other brands.

It’s wasn’t what I expected. Plus the cans were all dented and they were packaged by Petco.

My 2 dogs ate this up! Used it as a topper on their dry food and yo would think they had never eaten before. 😀 They loved it. It looks like fresh homemade food. I will continue buying as a treat for my pups.
