What is the texture And size of the food? Do you have a photo? My cat has sensitive teeth and trouble chewing. The blue buffalo food is too hard for her to chew.
- Kibble is hard, elongated, a bit smaller than a raisin. My older cat eats at it a little, but much of it falls out of his mouth as he chews, so now he gets mostly wet/canned food. .

I can't seem to find a brand that will keep my short hair american from shedding. some brands are good my main coon but not my short hair grey and silver mix. will this brand be good for both? keeping from shedding and loosing weight as well?
- My cats have been on Nutro since they were kittens, oldest is 16. It has maintained their weight; can't say too much about shedding; all my kitties shed to some degree. Daily brushing is my solution.

Hi there. I was thinking about switching my cat to a better quality food. I know the first at least 3 ingredients should be chicken, chicken meal etc vs corn or grains. My cat is 20lbs. Vet told me he should be 16lbs & be on a low fat diet. I don't think his purina pro plan weight mgmt is helping anymore. Fat is 12.5% max in that food. But other foods have more fat. I wonder if a grain free diet would help keep him full longer? How many calories/cups a day he should eat? Worried about weightgain

After cat fight & treated at vet with Covina, rabies, anti inflam shot, my indoor/outdoor cat recovered indoors for 3 weeks. He started going outside again in a limited way. He gained weight. About 2-3 pounds. He is getting a tummy. Pics attached. His diet (per day) is free eating Hills Science dry perfect weight chicken, 2 to 2.5 (3oz cans fancy feast, (about 1/2 can at a time when he requests) & occasionally cooked chicken meat. My vet diagnosed my 11 year old cat with IBD and put her on a RX diet of Royal Canine Select Protein and a steroid cream. I have 2 other cats and feeding them all the Royal Canine is out of my budget, and I haven't had much luck feeding them separately. I was comparing ingredients between the Royal Canine and Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Diet cat food and they appear to be almost identical. I ultimately will do whatever is best for Ethel, I just wanted to know if Natural Balance would work
