Hi, I work with a large colony of feral cats and with the cold winter passing, many of them have developed upper respiratory infections. It is not warm enough to start trapping yet, so I am looking for something to boost their immune systems and help them recover from the URI's in time for TNR. From what I've read, vitamin C is safe for cats and can help their bodies heal. I am thinking of starting with 125-250mg of ascorbic acid powder. Id like confirmation that it is safe for them. Yeah or nay on digestive enzyme supplement for cats? Been adding it to my 4 cats (age 1, 6, 8, n 9) moist and sometime dry food, a powder mix from Mercola cause i have been told that it will help but also have read articles that it wont. All of my cats are healthy but 1 had vomited on many meals right after before i added it to her food. Also thoughts on probiotics. Thank you
My cat suffers from dark eye discharge that I believe is related to respiratory issues. I previously asked a question about him here before and I was told that respiratory problems are often chronic and he could benefit from supplements. Hello, Is this joint supplement good for my cat, sweetie to try with a little salomn oil? The Chondroitin in it is made of shark cartilage. I sadly can not use cosequin on her because sweetie is sensitive to chrondroitin made of porcine or beef cartilage which is why I am considering this one.
