I am so particular with what I feed my entire family, and these ingredients are top tier. The brown pieces just look like normal dry kibble, but the light colored pieces are very soft and fluffy, and I believe those are the freeze dried bits. My doggo, whom is a mature 8 year old Golden Retriever, 100+ lb male, LOVES THE FOOD! And yes he will eat just about anything, so honestly… it’s hard to tell with his response. But I made a little video showing my Doggos first impression of trying the food, he went straight in with zero hesitation. He could obviously smell the food before I released him to eat, and he had a hard time remaining obedient for a moment as the food sat on the ground. Which means… he liked what he was smelling before he tasted it too! I would recommend this food, especially if high protein is your priority, and good clean ingredients. I think your dog will love it, unless you have a tiny dog that hates everything… those doggos are a lost cause. lol!!

I was pleasantly surprised by how many freeze dried pieces there were. I appreciate that it is high protein and great for their gut and immune healthy, healthy heart, improving energy and their skin and coat. The day I got it, my little guy was sniffing the counter trying to get the bag! You can see the freeze-dried meat pieces, and there is no unpleasant smell, as I've experienced with some natural dog foods. The package was nice and shipped quickly. Also, no weird poops from them afterward, which happens with their more sensitive tummies on occasion. The doodles demand more! I'll definitely purchase this. Thank you, Nulo and Influenster!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a diabetic dog that is extremely fussy. Usually I have to put ground turkey or chicken on top of her regular kibble to get her to eat. I was hesitant.to see her reaction to this dog food. I was optimistic since not only kibble it has soft pieces as well. I was pleasantly surprised when she ate it with nothing else on it. This is a game changer when we travel since I now only have to pack dog food and not worry about refrigeration for other food. Price is on point with their competition.

My pup might not look quite as rugged as the dog on the bag, but he drooled all over my freshly cleaned floor with the same enthusiasm. He loved it from the very first bite and flipped his bowl over multiple times just to make sure he got every last piece. We also use the Nulo toppers to help our older Labradoodle “get started” before our chocolate lab puppy swoops in like a little food bandit. Easy on their tummies too!
