My male cat is almost 14. I know he is starting kidney problems due to the extra water he drinks at this point. and a bit thinner. lots of energy still. I read they need at least 50% protein, I give him wet and dry which i know is not good, but lots of wet and freeze dried chicken too, vit with dig enzymes. I adopted two kittens yesterday who were being fostered in an apartment, eating Purina One kitten formula. One of the kittens is experiencing diarrhea that occurred twice outside the litter box and once inside. I fed them that same Purina One last night and this morning, when it occurred twice, and then fed them a can of N&D wet food, when it occurred once more in the litter box. She seems otherwise fine in play behavior and energy levels.
