We adopted a cat, approx 6 months old, and he absolutely loves food. This product gets an A+ as he licks the bowl clean each and every time. We've tried a variety of the pates, as well, but this chicken + chicken liver stew tops the charts. We've been super impressed by all Nulo products.

I noticed the first review was about kittens trying this- maybe it's too "mature" texture for them? My two adult (senior - shhhh...though they don't look it!) cats loved this- they have loved all Nulo products they have tried actually- maybe the texture is too much for a kitten- like as kids we only like certain foods, including to the point creamy peanut butter only (never crunchy maybe before age 5!) and then one day so many more... I used to tell my parents I only liked vegetables in restaurants because my friend's family always went to really good Italian places...:) now I want to eat kale just about any chance I get...just love it! Anyway, just a thought. Probably most cats ages 4 and up in particular would like this- just guessing- one of mine is picky and she does love this. My orange tabby or course, loves it. He likes most foods, but he does really love Nulo! I do too for the ingredients to give them!

Both of my kittens hate this food and avoid it if a small portion is mixed in with their usual food. I think the stringy texture may be the primary reason but the smell is also unappetizing to me and my cats; oddly smells like vegetables. The packaging is tightly sealed and it does not smell spoiled.
