I have two older dogs who love to eat and even with exercise they were putting on a little weight. When I first gave it to them they were not wanting to eat it but they can be pickly sometimes. They did eventually eat it and have been eating it but I would not say it was their favorites compared to the other Nulo brands

As a pet parent with two diabetic dogs who had a history of pancreatitis, we began the long search in partnership with out vet for a low Glycemic index, low fat food that they would love. Nulo Weight Management kibble has been a lifesaver for them. They love it and our vet is very happy!

Excellent for dogs needing low fat food

One of my senior miniature pinschers was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis. The vet wanted him put on a very low fat diet. After comparing numerous brands I found this one has the lowest fat with the best nutritional ingredients. My vet was a little skeptical about a no grain diet that may possibly contribute to cardiomyopathy. She noticed the main protein is from meat not plants (beans and peas) so she thought it would be a good choice. My dog has improved greatly on this diet, having less episodes of pancreatitis flair ups. This food has also been great for my other senior miniature pinscher as she gains weight easily and has elevated liver enzymes. I can feed them both the same amount of food as before resulting in both improved heath and weight control. I would highly recommend this food for dogs with health issues requiring a low fat diet and/or weight issues.
