Don't buy this. My puppy was on this for months and now has DCM, an awful heart condition associated with diets high in (sweet) potatoes, lentils and peas.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Nulo Team
Hello! As a team full of pet parents, we are very sorry to hear of your puppy's recent diagnosis. Veterinary research of dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) has determined that this can be an inherited disease or can result from a deficiency in taurine, an amino acid that plays an important role in the health of heart muscle. These studies have proposed that there are several mechanisms for taurine deficiency in dogs, including breed-specific, genetic predisposition, metabolic, and dietary factors, yet veterinary researchers still have not established that taurine is an essential nutrient for dogs, as they are able to synthesize plenty of taurine on their own if provided with enough of the right precursors - methionine and cysteine. Our recipes are designed with industry-leading levels of animal-based protein (meat), and no plant-protein concentrates, which means dogs are getting a significant portion (80-85% on average) of protein from animal sources, which are a natural source of taurine. Nulo’s foods contain 2-3x AAFCO's established required levels of methionine and cysteine and are 0.12-0.25% taurine on a dry matter basis, specifically with our MedalSeries Large Breed Puppy Salmon & Sweet Potato formula offering a taurine content of 0.25% (dry matter). Our diets also meet the AAFCO nutrient guidelines for the species and life stage they are intended for, both by formulation and by analysis of the finished product. Our Customer Care team would love to address any further questions or concerns and we may be reached at customercare@nulo.com.

I have bought this exact bag 3 times and the 3 times I think Nulo has shorted me out 4 lbs. I put the kibble on a 20 lb container and the "24 lb" bag fits in it. I think thats kind of odd... can someone from Nulo looked into it?
