My cats seem to like the flavor of this kibble but for some reason this brand makes the kibble shape rather small. My cats are not a fan of the small sized kibble, they usually don’t chew the kibble since it is so tiny. The clean ingredients is what initially sold me on this brand but until they make the kibble regular size I won’t buy this brand again.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Hello! We are sorry to hear that your cats did not like the size of our kibble. There are several carefully thought out reasons behind the shape and size of Nulo's kibble. Because cats are strict carnivores, they do not have molars to assist in grinding food. Instead, they have teeth that are more equipped for ripping, much like their less domestic counterparts. Additionally, cats do not possess the ability to move their jaws in the same lateral, grinding manner that dogs can. Since cats’ teeth are designed for tearing and shredding rather than crunching and grinding, we designed the small disc shape of our kibble to allow them to be swallowed easily and comfortably without needing to be broken up by chewing. Swallowing small pieces the size of our kibble is actually a very common eating behavior for cats. Our kibble is designed not to expand in the stomach, making this a stress-free practice for your cat! With all of this in mind, our food can better mimic the diet structure that your cat was designed for to provide him/her with the best feeding experience possible! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kitty absolutely loved this dry food! She took one sniff and started chowing down! Now whenever she hears me grab the bag she comes running in! It has great ingredients so I know my kitty is getting not only a good snack but great nutrition as well. She really likes that it's Coated with bone broth so not only does she find it delicious but it's easy for her to eat! This is a great, healthy option for your kitties :)
