NO longer "pure"...with new label came revised percentage of ingredients

Giving my dog pure fish oil is so important to me--I believe it really has helped with her brain function, heart health and mobility. Loyal supporter/consumer of NN Omega-3 Pet fish oil, I went online to order more. The word "pure" was removed from the new labeling, so I looked at the ingredients--The amount of crude fat is no longer 99.4%, and this depletion of crude fat is made up with a higher percentage of "moisture". In past I would have given 5 stars, not anymore. Please return to the "Wild Anchovy and sardine oil" --At the high price of this item per ounce, I'm looking elsewhere for PURE oil supplement. Shame on Nordic Naturals for not staying true to it's formula.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing! A great supplement from a brand I trust. We were looking for something for our pups and this was exactly what we needed. No complaints from the pups and am starting to see benefits! A little pricey - but worth it in my opinion.

The dog can’t tell you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The thing with supplements for dogs is you have to observe changes because they can’t tell you if it’s working. I have a healthy 3 year old Shepard mix and she chews the pill with her food. I think it provides additional nourishment if you’re feeding your dog kibble. That’s what I like most.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog takes these so easy without putting in food. They are easy to swallow for my Yorkie. He likes the taste and I can’t wait to buy more for them ….

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My pet liked them. I haven’t noticed any of the beneficial claims. The ingredients seem typical for this type of supplement. Not sure about price but if someone is giving 4 capsules as I did the bottle doesn’t last long I can imagine it would get expensive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nordic Naturals Omega-3 Pet is a high-quality supplement that delivers essential fatty acids to support pets' heart, joint, and coat health. The oil is sustainably sourced, easy to administer, and well-tolerated by most dogs and cats. Pet owners often notice shinier coats and improved mobility within a few weeks of use.

Hi, can small dogs have this under 10lbs? Thank you

  1. No, the gel cap is too large.  Also our dogs are not willing to eat the gel cap if the find them it in their food either.  In the past I have been able to cut the gel cap and squeeze the oil into the food.  Our current dogs find it too strong a flavor if I get too much in the food.  So start with small amount.
