I have purchased many of these tiny lights... the kitties lose the collars. The lights are bright and with YOUR battery, the battery last a long time... on one occasion we found the collar and light pressed in to wet mud a week after losing the collar. The light was still lit. Not all battery brands last as long as yours. The light may be tiny but it is bright with a fresh battery.

Thank you Nite Ize! Have 2 & used for 2 years so far. I rescued a cat & we were unable to break him of going outside. He’s older, doesn’t go far but I always worry about a passing car. So it’s helped give me some peace of mind. I only clip it on his collar at night & remove it when he’s back in & keep it handy on key rack. Note, you have to change the battery regularly. But I understand a rechargeable would then weigh too much. My only dislike: The light is a good brightness but since it has to hang on his collar & gravity keeps it hanging under his chin, I worry the cool LED white & blue colors are harsh on his eyes. So wish they made Warmer colors like yellow/ amber on the red spectrum that are closer to natural night so, better on the eyes.

The light comes with a small paper tab that must be removed for the battery to engage. So far so good. The package contains NO INSTRUCTIONS on how to access the paper tab or the battery. I found the Nite Ize web site and see now that it is supposed to unscrew but that "extra force is required." I'm a man in very good shape, and I found it impossible to open, making it a total waste of money.

I like these for my 2 cats, when we take them for walks in the evening after dark around the yard. It’s really easy to keep track of them and a lot of fun to see their little bouncing lights running around.

Hi we have just got our Niteize dog collar light and after a couple of uses, we have activated it and it won’t now switch off. I fear this is now broken. Can we possibly have a replacement?

It was great while it lasted....3 days. It turns on way to easy and came apart even easier. Its a huge hazard when it comes apart and the battery is exposed and the dogs start chewing on it.

I bought a twin pack that has a steady white light and it’s just like a dog headlight! However, the second light would not stay on for more than 3 minutes. The flashing light has several colors and flashing or steady on options. If you go on a 30 or 40 minute walk, you’ll stay in the dark. I hope they can fix this design problem.

Bought this in January. Before the end of Feb. it stopped working. Nite replaced it free of charge. Now here we are in June and it’s broken again. Works great when it works. But faulty.
