The rechargeable NiteHowl Max is ruff, tuff, and fluff-friendly. Uniquely designed for fluffy, thick-coated dogs, its extra-wide, weather-resistant band lays flat on top of their coat, ensuring it doesn't get lost in the fluff. With a full 360degree ring of light, slip on this necklace so you can always spot your pup from the yard to the park (and ensure drivers can, too). Simply press the button to shine, cycling through Disc-O Select's three selectable colors of red, green, and blue, plus color-changing Disc-O mode for a unique color blend. Cut the band on its end for a perfect fit, with an adjustable size from 12" to 27" (30.5cm - 68.6cm). Recharging in 2 hours with a micro USB cable (not included), NiteHowl Max has a run time of 10 hours to keep up with your fluff ball.

This collar is perfect for walking my golden retriever at night! It is well made, highly visible, includes a variety of colors, fits great, easy to use, rechargeable and holds it charge for a long period of time.

I've used the NiteHowls since they were first released and have upgraded every time a new version was available. To date, this version is my absolute favorite. Even though my dog has short fur, I love the larger size. She wears this every night on her trip outside to the potty. I could not imagine being on a camping trip without this essential item.

Bought the last one at REI store near me. Looked like a keeper and it IS! We have a giant breed (Leonberger) who loves being outside. The “wide band for fluffy coats” floats over my dogs coat, so it is visible at night. It fit him so well without having to cut it down…so it’s just easy on/easy off over his head. We can let him out in the yard on his own and feel he is safe! Love the ease of charging, too.

We’re fortunate to have a large backyard with a field attached, so our dogs have lots of room to romp and play. When they’re wearing their NiteHowl collars after dark we can see exactly where they are. It looks like colorful fireflies buzzing around. It always makes me smile.

Wonderful. We have a sleek, black pittie puppy that loves to play ball at all hours of the night but we couldn't see her! This collar is perfect and we cut it to length easily so it slips right over her head on her way out the door. We call it her disco collar and it is also perfect for those dark winter morning walks.

I live on about 20 treed acres and have two pitty mixes. During fall and winter our walks are generally in the dark. I bought the wider collars for the extra visibility, and I'm glad I did as I think the thinner ones would be hard to spot on running dogs 50 yards away. I tried the Nite Ize Spotlit collar tag lights, but they are just too small to see from a distance. These large collars I can see quite well. It would be nice to have a pure white light option, and blue is hard to see, that could go. As others have mentioned, a flash mode would be appreciated. I wish the collars had a proper clip or clasp instead of the friction fit. My dogs play rough and are likely to pull off one another's collars. I'm also concerned about long term wear and loss of grip from being pulled apart and pushed together twice a day. Leaving the collars on the dogs is not an option, they will turn into short lived chew toys.

I have had other nite ize lights before for my pets and have always thought this company made some top notch products. I recently had a foster dog eat one of my collars so I decided to buy a couple replacements in this wide band version. WOW, what a great collar!I do my chores on the farm after dark all winter and its very important to keep track of my mischievous dogs. They are now all color-coded and I can see them from hundreds of feet away as I feed the horses. Thank you for such a great product!!

Having 2 dark brindle dogs with heavier coats, these lights work fabulously making them noticeable on our late evening/nighttime walks. They sit on top of the longer fur and definitely stand out for vehicles to notice them. Very happy with my purchase of these.
