The NiteDog LED Collar Cover is the answer to every night-loving dog owner's problem: losing sight of their best buddy after sundown. Durable, weather-resistant, and lightweight, this low-profile, flexible LED illuminated strip forms comfortably over almost any dog's collar and closes securely with two micro hook-and-loop tabs. Its bright light-transmitting polymer core is illuminated by an energy-efficient red LED bulb with two mode settings (glow and flash) and is housed in a high-quality thermal plastic urethane exterior. When illuminated, the cover is visible up to 1000 feet and is powered by a long-life, easily replaceable battery. Also featuring decorative paw prints with passive reflectivity for visibility even when not illuminated, NiteDog keeps your dog seen and safe from dusk till dawn.

I bought this years ago and love it. I have an active Jack Russell & it’s still going strong after six years. Changed out the battery twice.

I love the concept, but the piece that holds the battery inside the sleeve doesn’t stay in. I’m constantly having to take the collar off to slide the battery slip back in. Well, I looked today and the battery piece is no longer in the holding sleeve. We live in Alaska and it’s winter here. I’m sure it’s buried under a foot of snow already. I wouldn’t recommend unless they come up with a way to ensure the battery stays in the sleeve. Also, I have 3 little boys including a newly walking baby. Now I have to worry about him finding it and putting it in his mouth/swallowing it which is a medical emergency that can cause death from tissue wrosion. This product is a liability.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Just purchased this for my black GSP so we don’t trip over him in the dark. Spent the day at a constant all day drizzle with him wearing it all day and then being turned on at dusk. We were outside the entire time. Well it no longer works. What a disappointment.

Got this to replace the NiteHowl collar we lost camping, thinking this would have more functionality since it can be attached to multiple things. Tbh I’ll probably just keep this on the harness so it’s not in the way. Few things I’ve noticed: - light is good, I like the flashing option vs solid - My dog is active so we use a variety of gear that it could potentially attach to- bungee leashes, harness, hiking backpacks etc. That said, this works best on flat leashes/collars. We use a rope leash for everyday and this is just barely flexible enough to go around it, but would work fine otherwise. - The battery gets in the way of a tight fit around some leashes. This could probably be solved with longer straps -housing for the battery doesn’t look very protective for rainy days, so I would move this closer to the handle of the leash so it doesn’t get dragged through mud and puddles. -PS: Would take some finagling, but I wouldn’t leave this on your dog unattended if they’re a chewer, as they could potentially get at the battery and swallow it

Love this light makes the dog much more visible when I put it on his harness. Could also be used for attaching to strollers.

We have been using Niteize collar lights for many years, on multiple dogs. Where we live, it is very dark at night, and my chocolate labs tend to "dissappear" in the shadows. It is the perfect solution for us.
