I purchased this recently for my two cats. The day after applying, one of my cats had a large bald patch and blistered skin where it was applied. The other cat had no visible issues. I have tried many topical flea medications with no issue, but it seemed to trigger a reaction with the one cat. I would advise to stay away from this product if your cat has sensitive skin.

I use Nextstar regularly for my 4 cats. It works and it doesn't seem to sting on application like some of the other more expensive flea and tick drops do. During summer months when fleas are more of a problem I'll use Capstar in between my Nextstar applications.

Sad to report this is the worst flea med I have ever bought. 5 days after using on each of my 3 cats, All of them still have fleas. So disappointed in this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm glad I was finally picked for a campaign, but when you do the survey they ask how many animals you have. I was really expecting more than 3 flea "remedies," but I was on vacation for 2 weeks and not even a month later my poor cats were suffering. Not sure what works anymore, or why they'd do a survey and only give you HALF of what you need for your total of 6 cats, then they say a 3 lb product being shipped to you but it's actually for the weight of the cats and not the contents of the box. Either way....didn't do anything for my cats.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the very first time I've used this brand for flea and tick prevention. I must say that my one outside kitty was becoming overtaken with fleas and I tried everything to help him to no avail. I'm happy to report that one day after application, and over three months since he's happily flea and tick free! It's easy to apply and doesn't leave oily residue on the fur like most topical applications. Just remember if your kitty has thick fur-part the hair and place tube as close as you can get to their skin and squeeze entire contents slowly. Then put the hair back down and rub it in. Quick and easy. He's still outside, running around, enjoying his new home. He's also flea and tick free thanks to NEXTSTAR FLEA AND TICK TOPICAL.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed by how quickly NextStar Fast Acting Cat Flea & Tick Treatment worked at killing the fleas on my cats. It was like night and day compared to what I had been using. It was easy to apply (well as easy as anything can be to use on a cat) and seems to be pretty long lasting, I did notice a small bit of hair loss on one cat but nothing drastic. I will continue to use NextStar Fast Acting Cat Flea & Tick Treatment on my cats. Please note, I did received this product as part of a free sample program.

I have used this product for over 30 days and my cat has had no allergic reactions, he has been happy and content! No itching, no fleas! Keep in mind I do keep my pet indoor but that doesn't stop the fleas from getting inside! I feel that this product is a great value in comparison to other flea products.

No. You need a separate mite treatment. I use both.

How long after applying treatment do I have to wait to bath my cat?

Do not bath your cat directly after applying the product. Make sure that your cat is completely dry before applying the product. It is best to wait 12 hours to assure that your cat is completely dry prior to application.
