Almost killed my 14 year old cat

I had just adopted a kitten from my local store. The kitten unfortunately was infested with Tapeworms unbeknownst to me. When I took the kitten to the vet I was told to use NexGuard Combo. I also have a 14 year old cat that the vet wanted me to treat as well just to make sure that my older cat didn’t get infested with Tapeworms from the new kitten. Now the problem. Within DAYS I noticed that my older cat was throwing up consistently, not acting normal acting very lethargic and not eating. For 2 WEEKS my older cat wouldn’t eat only drink water. I finally gave in and gave my older cat human food just to get something in my older cat. When I looked up the side effects of this product it says. Vomiting, Lethargy and anorexia. All of which my older cat experienced. This product needs used only on younger cats, Seniors should definitely not be using this! Had I known the side effects and had the instructions actually informed me I NEVER would have used this product in my senior cat. Did the product do what it said about riding my kitten of tapeworms .. yes BUT at the cost of my senior cat that I’ve had all 14 year of her life. No I will never let any of my cats ever use this product ever again.

No, I do not recommend this product.
