What is the best monthly flea and parasite topical prevention medication?
Just took my 9 month old puppy in for his weigh in before I give them his preventative meds and find out he is 62 pounds and all of these NexGuard flea and tick medication’s 25-60 lbwill not work for him. The vet said if I gave him the one of these that he wouldn’t be fully protected from fleas and ticks. Is there any way I can give him one and maybe a little bit of another NexGuard pill or am I better off trying to sell these? I’m really upset because I paid over $100 for these pills at Costco.
Best flea and tick preventive for a large 90+ lb one year old male dog
I need to buy my lab of 10 months some ticks and fleas and heartworm he weights about 50 pounds
If a vial of revolution flea treatment for cats is marked 60 mg 15.1 to 22 lbs can I use one treatment on two cats that are under that weight? Together their weight is about 17 pounds.
Lioh weighs 9.2 lbs and has been prescribed nexgard 4-10lbs (6 packets or 6 months worth). I know he will be gaining weight over the next 6 months and therefore donno know if I should get him 3 packs instead of 6. What would you advice?
vet said to get flea preventive for our two cats... The dogs seem to have them and are being treated. Vet recommended Revolution or Advantage. The cats are 8 and 10 years old.
My chihuahua mix (11 lbs) started treatment with Advantage II two or three months ago. However, we still find at least one flea on him every week. (FYI we have also treated our home for fleas). We heard that topicals aren't as effective as they used to be, and want to switch to Nexgard. He was just treated with Advantage II again yesterday. How long do I need to wait before I can give him a dose of the Nexgard that finally came in mail today? Are these two medications safe to use together?
It has been determined that my dog has fleas. We took him to an emergency vet last month and got Nexgard for him there (only a 1 month dose). We are coming up on the 2nd month and have nowhere to get more nexgard and his condition has gotten worse as he is chewing off his fur. We have cleaned, used borax, vacuumed every day and washed his bedding. What should we do? This is what his spot looks like now.
