This is the third one of this style of cat tree I have purchased. This latest purchase is not the same gray color - almost a beige color, and the carpeting is much thinner.

My cat will not use sisal scratching posts. I purchased one of these carpeted at a Petco store a year ago and my cat loves it. The carpet is thick and he's uses it a lot. Yes, there are carpet threads all over, but that's because he uses it. I wanted to get another one for a different window and ordered what looke like the exact same tree. Unfortunately, its made with VERY sparsely woven carpet. Theres no way a cat will use this for scratching as he can't get his claws into anything but the hard vertical posts. I'm thinking of taking it back to a Petco store. It's unfortunate when online versions of the same product are so poorly made.

Santa Paws brought this for 2 very rambunctious kitties - and it is holding up really well. The top is big enough for a full grown cat (some are not), it is very sturdy and all three posts have been used for scratching. It loses carpet pieces but not any more than anything else we've ever bought.

Our picky Birman Cat Likes the salmon dry and may like this scratching tower; he reuses to use three others and instead rips up the house carpeting.

Great product! I ordered three so my cats had various window views, high quality, they love the scratcher and the toy too.

I got two of them and placed them side by side for my two cats. The hight matches the window sill and they love to take a nap in them. They are very sturdy. My cats use the scratcher and the play ball as well, success!!
