All three of my cats love this thing. I thought the flashing light might scare my scaredy cat baby but she is obsessed. They love sitting on it and scratching their claws too.

My cat absolutely loves chasing the flashing ball around the circle.

The track and ball should be smooth, but Nerf decided to put cut out designs on the ball and on the inner track! The ball will not spin around the track smoothly or freely, in fact I have a hard time spinning the ball around and I have hands and fingers. An expensive piece of garbage that just sits there because it's not fun for my cat!

My two young kittens are loving this ball track toy. The flashing ball rolls easily (unlike previous reviewer). When they were babies they also used the cardboard center scratcher. They have since changed to an upright sisal rope pole preference. I like that the ball unscrews in the middle. I can change out the lighted component for a bell or add a bit of catnip. Changing it up keeps it interesting. They still use it daily after 2+ months. When they track litter into the track it will mess up the ball rolling. Solved with a quick wipe with a damp paper towel.

My cat was so excited to use this but quickly lost interest because the ball gets stuck after moving three inches. The unnecessary design on the track makes it difficult for the ball to move. What a waste. Immediate return.
