Neo-Predef with Tetracaine is applied topically. Always follow the dosage instructions provided by your veterinarian. If you have difficulty applying the medication, contact your veterinarian. The ear or area of skin should be thoroughly cleaned and dried before treatment. For the ear, remove any debris, crusty material, etc., with a suitable nonirritating ear cleaning solution. For the skin, use a skin cleansing solution to clean the lesion and adjacent area. Clip any excessive hair from the ear or treatment area as directed by your veterinarian. Apply the powder by compressing the sides of the container with short, sharp squeezes. Do not let the tip of the container come in contact with anything moist, including a moist lesion or skin. Prevent ingestion of the medication. If ingested at high doses or for extended periods, corticosteroids can cause premature birth especially toward the end of pregnancy.

My 7 yr old Havanese has had a cherry for about 5 years and sometimes she rubs and scratches it and it can get inflamed. A canine ophthalmologist once prescribed Neomycin and Polymyxin B Sulfates and Dexamethasone Opthalmic Suspension, USP and I put one drop in her eye three 3 times a day and her eye was better after a couple of days. Is there an OTC eye drop or ointment that would help her if she rubs her eye and it gets irritated? Would Terramycin Ophthalmic Ointment help and is it safe?
Vet has me giving my dog artificial tears solution polyvinyl alcohol 1.4%. It looks like the brand has discontinued it or has a shortage. What should I look for when deciding on a new artificial tear? I can’t find one with the polyvinyl alcohol. (Also taking tacrolite)
I was wondering if there is an over the counter version of Tobramyacin 0.5% drops, that would sphere safe for kittens?
Can latanoprost 0.005% and 1% sodium carboxymethylcellulose with stabalized oxychlora complex 0.075mg, boric acid, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, sodium borate & sodium chloride be used together safely? My pug has KCS-black pigmentation with completely white background behind it.Tried to click photos.Few hrs after applying cmc liquigel drops I'm observing he's unable to see properly and confused.Cleaned with water slowly he was able to see.Is this side effect? No eye facilities in my state.
May I know the name of the eyedrop that are considered best in order to heal corneal ulcer?
my dog has dry eye .5 Vet gave me optimmune ointment that is sooooo expensive. Is there any human dry ointment that is a lot less expensive that I can use
Is Tobradex safe to use on 3 weeks old kittens with swallen eyes? How many times a day if so ? What about Apisal saline eye drops , could we use a combination of both ( first sterilize with Apisal) then treat with Tobradex? Or is safer to use refresh plus eye drops no preservatives instead ?
My dog has dry eye and gets tacrolimus ointment.03% 2X a day. In the morning her eye is crusty from the residue. It is difficult for her as I clean her eye Tim with a soft cloth and water. Is there a product I can use that would not be as crusty?
My dog scratched her eye and was prescribed apo-diclofenac ophthalmic (anti inflamatory) and sandoz tobramycin (antibiotic). Which one should be given 10 minutes before the other? I forgot my vets instructions....
My dog was diagnosed with a superficial eye ulcer on 9/14 (took her to ER immediately when I noticed something wrong). She was given 10 day's Tx with Vetropolycin. Took her to regular vet yesterday for a re-check and it's still there! She said it's tiny now, but Tx must continue until gone. They put her on Terramycin instead. What is the difference in these medications and what are the chances it will heal with this Tx? I read these things should heal on their own in 3-5 days...worried.
my kitten 3 & 4 months old, the rim around their eyes are red and they have a green discharge and im unsure how many drops of tears naturale artificial tears to give them
The vet gave Dahlia Synotic 8 ml and TriOtic ointment 15g. First how do you use for her feet and how safe are they because she licks her feet constantly
