My dog has been licking his paws excessively especially the back left paw, which is now bleeding. Attached are 3 images of his back paw. I've been putting Antiseptic and AntiFungal spray twice a day on his paws.
I have a newfie lab mix he gets the acral lick chews his legs up is there a over the counter treatment
Dahlia licks her feet a pitbull age 8. Not fixed due to heart mumur. What can I safely clean them with and keep her from licking. DermaPaws? So many oils. Dog wipes?
my dog who is part maltese part poodle ha been on medication hydroxyzine for several months but the past week he has been obsessively licking one paw and it is red. I can't get into my vet until Monday afternoon. I have soaked his paws in epsom salts and apple cider vinegar and have treated him with a spray prosense wound cleaning solution. Is there anything else I can do? I do put a sock on the paw so that he won't lick it.
My dog was recently groomed, and without realizing I let her play outside for a little too long. Her back paws kind of got a little irritated because her hair had just been cut down. She has been licking them on and off constantly since then. A vet on here suggested to use Vaseline but I didn’t want to risk her ingesting it. Instead I opted for ResQ Organics Skin Treatment with Manuka Honey. Is this a safer option?
I had 2 fur baby's one was very ill with Cushing's we had to put her to sleep in April. The last straw was her constant licking of her front paws to the point of constant infections eventually a cone 24/7. My other dog never did it until about a month ago. Now what can I do to stop this behavior my other dog could no longer walk. I can't loose this one too. I've tried all the bitter sprays, i have bitter vet wrap but that's going to make him concentrate only on his paws. He's in a cone now too.
My dog won’t stop licking and biting her paw. At first I thought it was a Shampoo issue, but only one paw is bothering her. She constantly licks it non-stop, and it has turned red. Is there any over the counter antibiotic I can apply to it, or anything I can do to relieve her pain/itchiness? A warm or cold cloth? I have noticed that is smells a lot worse than her other paws.
Hello. My dog Winston is always licking this one paw. My vet said it is because of allergies and prescribed him some special shampoo. I used the shampoo, but he is still licking and now his paw looks nasty, bloody looking, and infected. Today he was limping on that paw like it was hurting and now I am worried. What can I do to help him stop licking his paw and make it look pretty again.
good morning, both of my adult golden retrievers are licking their paws ,is there something i can put on the paws to help ? thanks
What’s the best way to treat the cut on my dog’s paw? We’ve been spraying it with the skin spray (pictured), bandages and wraps and doing our best to keep him from licking it. The inflatable donut was ineffective so we’ll pick up a cone today. Thanks in advance!
My puppy is excessively licking his paws.
My puppy constantly licks the area where she urinates and bites her rear legs. Is there any spray I can use to help her that will eliminate the itching?
