- I would suggest it. My dog had severe allergies and infections and this food did not cause any reactions. I also feed him a. Lot of aloe Vera cristals fresh from the plant.

- Hi there, my name is Missy and I work with Instinct. While many of our kibbles are complete and balanced for small and medium breed puppies, our Limited Ingredient is not one of them. I recommend checking out our Raw Boost Puppy formula, or for large dogs, our Raw Boost Large Breed Puppy formula.

My golden is on instinct raw boost dry chicken formula and she LOVES it but her waste is huge and crumbly and hard to clean up. Is there something I can add or should I try another formula?

Bought purina one lamb and rice. Concerned on an ingredient. Chicken by product meal? Was taught bad for dogs and can be diesed animals. Mixing with 80 to 20 ratio of food the 80 percent is pure Balance trout and lentils grain free. But some of you say grains are good and they don’t have an allegry as they eat grained dog treats and Cheerios with no problems. Plus this food had real meat chucks and wanted to train them to eat dry food only. Thanks!
My two year old black lab has a very sensitive stomach & terrible skin allergies. He is currently eating Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream. I don’t believe this is working for him because he has terrible gas, frequent itching & licking despite taking an allergy medication, & very loose stool. I’ve been told to switch him to a limited ingredient diet, but I don’t know what brand to use. I am also concerned about peas/lentils can affect a dog’s heart.

What is a better puppy food for a basset hound I'm in between iams and instinct?
I feed my dogs Pure Balance Trout + Lentils (has probitics) mixed with Purina One Beyond Small Bites Lamb and Rice(has the joint support in it as well so that’s nice!) . Can you take a look at the ingredients? They don’t have any grain allergies as they tolerate Cheerios as their training treats but I liked Pure Balances Ingredients and the Purina One has not as well but they eat the food readily with the better brand and plus has free joint supplement in it. I have a basset hound 1 year old and an 8 month old lab. we free feed, iams Lamb with brown rice formula, but these two act like they are starving but I go through 40 pounds of food every 11 days. What is the best food to feed a 55-pound highly active hound? I was told to switch to grain free, but her stool has been mucous like and runny. I've tried Redford Naturals Limited Ingredient (I've tried chicken, beef, sweet potato) and American Journey Limited ingredient (lamb). Just looking to find the best dog food for a very active hound that won't break the bank. Also, I'm concerned with all this news of heart problems linked with specific foods.
