I switched to this brand a few months ago and my dog really enjoyed it. We recently picked up a new bag and after a few meals, he started to decline the food and exhibited symptoms of a severely upset stomach with vomiting and lethargy. We tried a different wet food, and he a just fine. We tried switching back to this food and he left most of it in the bowl. I’m not sure what happened but we will not be continuing with this brand.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I try to rotate amongst a variety of frozen raw proteins, this is one of my dog's favorites! I love the convenience of the scoop and serve frozen raw bites - bag to bowl on the busy days. In the summer time, we love to thaw these out over a lickimat, refreeze and serve as as a post walk nutritious treat!

I have been purchasing this for girl Kura for the past 3 months. It is a little pricey. But she has better formed and regular bowel movement since then. She has more energy and an even more shinier and softer coat. She is absolutely excited and jumps up and down when she seems me taking it out of the freezer every morning for her breakfast. In the evening, she eats science diet dried kibble just because I feel like it is better for her dental health to eat dried kibble. I switch up the flavor of the Raw Diet from Lam to beef to chicken every time I purchase so she doesn’t get tired of it. Sakura is a Pom/shihtzu mix and finished a large bag within 2 and a half weeks. Overall, ever since we switched her from a Pedigree diet, to science diet and Raw Diet, her overall health improved. I believe it also helped with her skin because she no longer scratches her skin which use to cause patches of her hair to fall out and cause superficial wounds. We love Raw Diet. The only reason i gave it 4 stars is because of the price.

Yes, I recommend this product.

are you going to make a bigger bag I have a giant Schnauzer he eats 4 cups a day plus dry food , he's a hard worker and being trained so he burns a lot of energy up some times it's hard to find the lamb always sold out.

  1. Hi there! The biggest option for our raw bites is our Raw Longevity Raw Bites in a 16lb bulk box. It comes in chicken or beef and can only be purchased at local neighborhood pet food stores. Thank you!

Why does this new LAMB recipe have BEEF in it? The old recipe did not have this problem... you are losing customers that need lamb for dogs with sensitivities..

  1. Hi there! Given the high price of lamb organs, we substituted beef organs in order to avoid a price increase to our consumers and maintain the same nutritional quality, and similar GAs, and feeding guidelines.

This item, the raw lamb, has been unavailable lately. Is this permanent, and if not, when will I be able to purchase it again?

  1. Hi there! Our Lamb recipe has not been discontinued, but did recently get updated. Retailers are currently in the process to ordering and stocking the new formula. You can view a Side-By-Side recipe comparison on our website here: https://www.instinctpetfood.com/sites/default/files/product_files/21-0847_value_rf_fd_from-tos_v4_03_rfd_lamb.pdf Thanks!

How many cups are in a 2.7 lb. bag? This will help me figure the cost for feeding my two Golden Retrievers.

  1. Hi Jerry269 There are 11 cups in the 2.7# lamb bites bag. Please let me know if you need anything else. Thanks,
