Is there taurine in this food?
- Salmon generally doesn't have a lot of taurine. I'd contact the manufacturer to ask if they add it as I don't see it on the ingredient list. I do feed this to my German Shepherds as part of a rotation. The lamb or chicken formulas likely have more taurine.

My dog is on open feed. Since this is raw, could I leave it out all day?

Are the bites small enough for a 9 pound Shih Tzu ? Or is this more for medium-larger dogs ? I realize they sell one for small dogs but prefer these ingredients. Thank you.
- The bites in this product are about 1 centimeter in diameter, so they are still small enough for a 9 pound dog. The small breed recipes are about half the size.
