Smell Be Gone

Best to use for all messes. Had a new unfixed male come in & started to spray. Once he was fixed, I went around the house with a black light to find all the spots & sprayed a good amount to clean the areas. You'd never know that he sprayed anywhere. Best ever!

Yes, I recommend this product.

The Horrible Smell Never Goes Away!

DO NOT ruin your rugs or furniture; the new formula in the orange bottle is AWFUL! There is a lot of feedback online from people who have the same problem...I used it TWO YEARS ago on my carpet, and the NM smell won't go away. I've treated it with vinegar, baking soda, etc. with no luck. The old formula was fine, but this new stuff is gross, and I'd rather have the pet odor. I just tried getting rid of the odor again today, soaking the carpet in warm water with detergent, in the hopes of covering over the NM odor with at least something more pleasant, but nope, its still there. This has been going on for TWO years. I will have to throw out this oriental carpet.

This is citrus, do you think it would work as a cat scratching deturant?? Thank you

  1. This product is not intended as a deterrent. The good news is that we do make a deterrent called the Nature's Miracle Scratching Deterrent Spray as well as Nature's Miracle Pet Block. So that we can answer your other Nature's Miracle questions please contact us at PetSupport@spectrumbrands.com.

Will this bleach out dark blue cotton fabric or the colors on a wool rug? Please do not add me to your mailing list. I will accept an email response, then will unsubscribe. Thank you.

  1. I used it on brown rayon blend pillows, took the smell out, not sure about stain removal because of dark color. White cotton rug, removed smell but not all the stain. I would try the spot check method or pull out a few fibers and saturate on a paper towel and hope it dosen't bleed. good luck

Does this actually "remove" the odor or does it just "mask" it? And, if it does remove the odor, how does it do so?

  1. In my experience, it removes the odor. Initially it smells citrusy, but once it dries there's no noticeable smell to humans. Animals occasionally tend to go over and sniff the area, but they have better noses. It's able to do this because it's an enzyme-based cleaner, which basically means it works on smells that come from the body -- urine, vomit, feces, (even B.O. if you want to try it on stubborn underarm odors), etc. The enzymes in the cleaner break down the proteins causing the odors and stains. It's best to keep the stained area saturated with the cleaner for a while to let it work. You'll also want to test a patch beforehand in case whatever spot you're treating was dyed with protein-based pigments, as this could cause fading. Best of luck!

How well does this work on cat vomit and older stains?

  1. This product works well on fresher problem areas. For your situation we recommend Nature's Miracle Advanced Stain and Odor Remover.

Nature's Miracle Oxy Formula Stain & Odor Remover

  1. Thank you for your question. According to the manufacturer, the Natures Miracle Oxy Formula is safe for use on all hard floors.
