HI there! I have a Russian tortoise who is less than one year old. She used to eat a variety of lettuces, spinach, cucumber, carrot, tomato, and enjoyed the bits of fresh fruit I treated her to now and then. For a couple months, she hasn't been eating any of those foods. I bought some tortoise "pellets" to supplement her diet, but she won't eat those either. I'm worried about her. What do you suggest? Thanks, Lori
I have always given my turtle ReptoMin for the past 14 years. Are there any other foods or treats i can feed her?
So my tortoise is 2 years old and recently has stopped/refuses to eat, he takes one bite and looks as if he is struggling to swallow it, he then won't eat anything else. I am very worried for his well fair and need some advise ASAP
Do you treat tortoises
I have a tortoise from last 10 to 15 days not eating and shell of the tortoise becoming loose and upper shale became loose looks like Please suggest me what can i do ? Thank You
How much pellets should i feed my turtle?
My terrapin has some white patches on his shell, what food can i give him to supply him with vitamin A?
Wat should I feed my soft shell turtle???
I've got 2 tortoises from a friend. They're 12 years old and have never hibernated. Their shells are lumpy and their mouths aren't straight and I understand somebody tried to trim their beaks. I plan to feed them calcium rich food as I do with my other 2, currently hibernating. Would it be better to get their mouths trimmed now or wait until they grow a bit.
I have a red eared slider who is 1 and a half year old. The commercial pellet box suggests that I feed my turtle twice as much as she can eat. Should I follow this, however even if I give 20 pellets at a time, my turtle eats it.
Hi, What specific type of the Oxbow Critical Care formula would you suggest for a box turtle that is not eating? I see they have different types. Does that have to be given orally or could this be mixed with water in a container where you can soak the turtle so that she gets those nutrients. How many times per week would you use the formula? Thanks so much
My turtle is starting to have black around her nose is that normal ? And I just realized that I've been feeding her the wrong things I've been giving her dried shrimp what can I give her instead that will be healthier
