is this food extruded?
Has the formula changed for the venison/sweet potato dry food? The last two bags I have ordered have been lighter in color and with such a significant amount of dust that I'm having to add water so my dogs will eat it. Digestive issues as well.

How does the Natural Balance Sweet Potato & Venison compare to the Hills Science Diet Venison & Potatoes
- I look at the first two ingredients in a grain free food. Natural balance has sweet potatoes and venison listed first. Hills Science has Potato, potato starch then venison. I have never had success with Hills. My vet recommended Natural balance and my dog has been on it for close to 10 years. She has grain allergies and this works for her.

I’ve been feeding my dog this for a while and have been very happy with it, I noticed on my most recent delivery that the food is a different shape and size, have the ingredients changed at all?
- Please know that there has not been a recent formula change for the Limited Ingredient Diet Sweet Potato & Venison dry dog formula. Our formulas vary in moisture content from batch to batch which can cause a difference in density and diameter of the individual kibble. This variation can be caused by the cooking process as well as the natural moisture variation in the ingredients. All of our products are reviewed for cosmetic details such as color, scent, size and texture prior to distribution, in addition to the normal laboratory testing for the nine contaminants that we test for. These cosmetic variations should not affect the digestibility or palatability of the products whatsoever. Before I started rotating my dogs food she was on on natural balance L.I.D. Venison. She also had the matching venison treats. is this a good brand? The only reason I switched was beause I felt they carbohydrate content was fairly high. (Around 50%) Also it was only 20% protein which seems low. she did do really well on this and always had dark colored firm stool. Should I just put her back on this? it doesn't Contain any veggies though, is that bad? Thanks!
I am getting an 8 week Cocker Spaniel. I am not new to Cocker Spaniel, just puppy versions. I want to try a new food for her, and need suggestions. I did research & came across these dry foods: Merrick Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Merrick Limited Ingredient Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Taste of Wild Pacific Stream Grain Free Smoked Salmon, Taste of Wild Appalachian Valley Small Bree’s Grain after Roasted Venison. Are any of those good, if so which one? Want to stay chicken free.
My 2 yo Lab/Ridgeback is 86 lbs yes overweight and has a urine ph of 5. I have her on grain free Taste of the Wild venison/buffalo 2.5 cups daily. Without spending $80.00 for a 17 lb bag of Royal Canin So , what dry food or treatments might you recommend for Rylee?
She is not eating the Natural chicken and sweet potato cans I ordered. She is almost 14 years old. I have tried most of the Senior diet but the chicken and barley makes her belly bloat. She eats canned but due to several teeth removed cannot eat dry. She is a dachshund of normal weight and good health. She is still an active walker.
Best inexpensive boxer dry dog food
My two year old black lab has a very sensitive stomach & terrible skin allergies. He is currently eating Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream. I don’t believe this is working for him because he has terrible gas, frequent itching & licking despite taking an allergy medication, & very loose stool. I’ve been told to switch him to a limited ingredient diet, but I don’t know what brand to use. I am also concerned about peas/lentils can affect a dog’s heart.
I have a 4 year old Rottweiler who has sensitive skin and stomach. I'm looking for a grain free, high protein food. I've looked into the Purina Pro Plan and the Hills Science Diet and they both contain grain and the protein content is low. Does anyone have any suggestions for possible foods?
Just ordered Taste of the wild Grain Free Roasted Venison Bison dry puppy food, and was wondering if it's good for my 7 month old German Shorthaired Pointer puppy and if it will bother my babies stomach.
I feed my dogs Pure Balance Trout + Lentils (has probitics) mixed with Purina One Beyond Small Bites Lamb and Rice(has the joint support in it as well so that’s nice!) . Can you take a look at the ingredients? They don’t have any grain allergies as they tolerate Cheerios as their training treats but I liked Pure Balances Ingredients and the Purina One has not as well but they eat the food readily with the better brand and plus has free joint supplement in it. Thank you for your opinions on them

My 14 year old American Pit Mix has a food allergy and we did an elimination diet.
