Something is wrong for the past two bags I bought.

Formula changed. Now has white flakes inside. U have bought about 20 bags over the course of four years. Most recently the contents have white flakes inside. First I feturned the bag but the next had it too so it appears something was added/changed. It doesn’t seem normal.

Gave my dog horrible stomach issues.

My dog has been on this food for 13 years now but for some reason, this time around, she’s been having horrible diarrhea every time she eats this new bag. I put her on bland chicken and rice that I cooked and the diarrhea stopped. As soon as she got back on this food, it started again. Contacted the company and they assured me nothing in the ingredients had changed. She won’t even touch this food now because of the stomach and intestinal upset it gave her. Such a shame because she’s 15 and this is the only food that was helping her until now. Can’t return the food as my return window has expired and I threw away my receipt - if anything, I probably would have purchased the venison to see if it made a difference. If you purchased the sweet potato and bison anytime in May of 2024, please be careful because I think this batch has been contaminated with something. It’s the only thing that has given my dog diarrhea these last few weeks.

Rottweiler approved!

Our 10 yr old Rottweiler had a tick born virus that changed his digestive system. We tried several dog foods and he did not like them. I needed the food to be low in fat and something he never had before. I brought this one home and he hit the bag after his first bowl full and barked for more. He comes down in the morning as soon as I tap his dish. He is very picky. This dog food is a winner and his stomach is healthy again.

Yes, I recommend this product.

This product works wonderful for our 4 yr old black lab that has food allergies to chicken - rice - pumpkin. This is our go to item for treats as well. Rudy has done very well on this - his stools are now beautiful compared to before this product (hard to believe one can think beautiful)!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Is there any "meal products" in this dog food? What do you use for longer shelf life (preservatives) and how much? Are all the meat products "pure meat" at the quality I could eat? Are the Buffalo from a farm?

  1. All I know is this. My black Lab Darcy was in natural balance all her life. I lost a few months back at age 14. I asked my Vet what more could I have done to prolong Darcy’s life and quality of life. My Vet told me she wanted to know what I did to give Darcy such a long happy life, and if there is reincarnation she wants to come back as a dog that belonged to me. Buy the treats and stop fretting

My pup is intolerant to Chickpeas (Garbonzo's). Is the pea protein from Chickpeas? or green peas?? Pea Protein is the 3rd ingredient in many of these flavors......he can't eat anything but beef, bison and vension. Thanks.

What is the sodium content for this dog food? My dog needs low sodium but is allergic to chicken dog food and I am hoping this could qualify. Thank you
