Did something change? My dog loved this food and had been doing really well with it this last bag he does seem to want to eat and has started having diarrhea this week. Nothing else has changed in his diet.
- My Golden Retriever would not eat the big bag Duck and Potatoes I just bought. She has been eating this brand since a puppy, and she just turned one. It was strange, so I called the store and returned the bag. The store gave me another bag with no problems. I took it home and feed it to her and she started eating with no problem. I believe it was a bad bag.

Is your food AAFCO rated? Where is your product sourced? Where is it manufactored?
- Yes, all their Natural Balance LID dry dog foods are AAFCO compliant. The food is manufactured in California and South Carolina and most of the ingredients are from the U.S. though some are are sourced globally (primarily Canada) depending on availability (this may not always exclude China). EVERY BATCH is 3rd party tested and the results posted on their web site, including the bag I bought yesterday. This has been my Labs (5 so far) food for nearly 10 years and I can't imagine changing. None of their LID dry dog food has ever been recalled. The web site has a chat line also - ask them anything. Hopes this helps.

We have 2 large breed dogs. One is 75 pounds and one is 125 pounds. How much protein , rice or oatmeal, and vegetable should we be feeding them to keep them healthy and thriving? Both dogs have trouble with dry food and suffer with loose stools.

Royal Canin or Farmina Low Grain/Grain Free for an adult Rottweiler, and why?
Years ago the vet recommended grain free food. A few months ago after news talked about grain free food being bad for the heart, we switched from Fromm Salmon Tunalini Grain Free to Coast + Range Beef with brown rice. I thought the ingredients in C+R seemed good, but for the last 6-8 weeks, his groin has been puffy/saggy. He's also gassy & not excited to eat lately. The vet did not feel anything unusual inside. Could this be from the brown rice? Thoughts on the food? Recommendations? Thank you!
I feed my dogs Pure Balance Trout + Lentils (has probitics) mixed with Purina One Beyond Small Bites Lamb and Rice(has the joint support in it as well so that’s nice!) . Can you take a look at the ingredients? They don’t have any grain allergies as they tolerate Cheerios as their training treats but I liked Pure Balances Ingredients and the Purina One has not as well but they eat the food readily with the better brand and plus has free joint supplement in it. Before I started rotating my dogs food she was on on natural balance L.I.D. Venison. She also had the matching venison treats. is this a good brand? The only reason I switched was beause I felt they carbohydrate content was fairly high. (Around 50%) Also it was only 20% protein which seems low. she did do really well on this and always had dark colored firm stool. Should I just put her back on this? it doesn't Contain any veggies though, is that bad? Thanks!

My 10 yr old lab lost 6 lbs when taken off dry food. He gets homecooked. Alternating between lean ground beef, turkey, white meat chicken. Veggies Sweet potatoes, yellow squash, green beans. He was a perfect weight. Elimating 1 cup of dry food per day added to homecooked was meant to be a healthy choice not for weight loss. Vet wants him to put the weight back. What can I add in, read that organic brown rice and Quinoa is not good daily and high in Phosphorus. Suggestions thx
