I purchased a bag of Natural Balanced dog food and the service was excellent

Twice I’ve had bugs, or white worms inside the kibble. I had to return both. Once with petco and once with petsmart.. I’m disappointed in natural balance because I used it on my dog who passed away and I never had any issues. Now it’s happening to me frequently and I no longer feel comfortable feeding my new fur baby natural balance. I’ve been told that it’s because the bag is not strong enough to withhold punctures so the bugs creep in through the small holes in the bag. I’ve been recommended the Buffalo brand and that’s exactly what I’m going to do. Sad because I have used this brand for 14 years and now because they can’t get the packaging issues resolved, I have to switch to another brand. Look for bugs or suspicious things in the kibble before you give it to your babies, people! Mine got really sick from it because I had overlooked it. :(

Extremely disappointed in Petco for my dogs food. Very limited variety for small dogs/small bites and WAY more expensive than other pet shops. I had to buy the regular size because I was limited on time but it was a total waste of money since my dogs can’t or won’t eat it due to the size of the nuggets. Won’t be getting my dog food there anymore

Hi everyone! Over a week ago, I bought a new bag of this food, then had to return it a few days later. After we started on the new bag, my dog started to have diarrhea and his energy dropped significantly. We had been buying this food for a few months and hadn't had any negative results until now. I switched him to a new brand and he is back to his energetic, happy self. For the health of your pups I recommend that you look elsewhere.

We started feeding our dogs Natural Balance because of food allergies. Best decision ever!

Almost 2 years of trying various foods - some seemed to work for a while - but I never found one that my dog loved that produced formed stools and didn't cause flatulance and usually bad breath and sometimes itchy skin - until now! This is like the best Christmas present ever! My dog keeps making trips to the kitchen looking at the kibble bin and then at me. :-)

The food has very good ingredients and my dog loves it. I hope Petco keeps it in stock.

My dog has a sensitive stomach, & when her stomach has acted up in the past I’ve had to cook chicken breasts & rice to get things to calm down. I finally decided I’d try the Natural Balance chicken & brown rice rather than cooking fresh chicken & rice every night.right. It has worked well & my dog is now on the Natural Balance chicken & brown rice - with no negative side effects - & I no longer have to cook fresh food to get her to eat. Yay!
