My 4 month old puppy has had loose stools for a week. I started adding rice to his food and that worked for 1 day but now he has a nugget that comes out and then the rest is runny. I feed him diamond naturals grain free lamb,rice and vegetable for large breed dogs and he’s been on this food for almost 2 months , he has already had all his vaccinations and the vet tested his feces and it was all normal. We'd like to get him back on kibble but I have no idea what direction we should go i.e. ingredients to look for/avoid. Any advice? Hello, I need help on finding the best homemade dog food recipe/ full supplement for a dog with a history of acute pancreatitis. For the past month my dog has been on a home cooked diet consisting of (lean ground beef, rice, nonfat cottage cheese, pumpkin squash, broccoli) he hasn’t had any recurring issues. I found a multivitamin called (GNC pets multivitamin plus). Is this a good product should I add salmon oil for extra omega 3 and should I add anything to his food such as chicken liver?
After months of IBD and diarrhea, we switched jack to Royal Canin KO formula. All poop issues 100% resolved, but then the vomiting started. Always bile. Omeprazole and Pepcid have been unsuccessful. Since it started when we started the KO, I assume it’s related but I’m nervous to switch lest poop problems come back. Looking for novel protein, with grain, with no peas/potatoes/chickpeas/lentils. Would you recommend Purina Pro Plan Focus Adult Sensitive Skin & Stomach Salmon & Rice Formula Dry ?
