How many cups of food are in 11lb bag?
Just started my dog on this food this week, so she's only getting a little mixed with her current food. But wow, she loves it. The ingredients are awesome. But I do not see phosphorus listed with the calcium, which is important.
My Lhasa apso male has had problems expressing his glands since he was 1 yrs old now he is 3. Vet suggested putting him on fat dog food because of the high fiber content. He needs to be on a high fiber diet,but was wondering if he is get enough protein?

My vet recommended a prescription dog food called Royal Canin Satiety Support formula. It is almost 6x the amount as this in price . Will this work like the one suggested I use?
- This dog food does help with weight loss. I have 3 chihuahua terrier mix that were extremely overweight 20lbs, 22lbs, 22lbs which caused Patella Luxation. I was able to drop their weight to 11 lbs, 12 lbs, 12.5 lbs.. My vet said to feed them 2x a day; morning and evening before 6:30pm; 1/3 cup dry food with 3 tbsp wet can food (if you use wet can food). This is the only formula that has worked on keeping their weight down and have not had any problems with their Patella.

My dog has been on a grain free soy free and chicken free food for about 8 months, He is 3 and has been gaining weight. Hi! Wally eats Proplan Focus puppy chicken & rice and his feces are very soft almost diarrhea. The food is for all breeds (toy to giant) 4 days ago I'm mixing it up with rice in every meal and the feces are much better. My question is: could be the % fat of the meal? He eats 210 grams a day. My terrier mix (DNA pic attached) turns 1 today (estimated birth date-she's a rescue). I feed her Hills Science Diet large breed puppy formula-I would like to transition her to a new food. She is mildly overweight in which she is active but her hips are probably not as defined as they should be. She currently weighs 68Ibs. I would like to transition her to Taste of the Wild Salmon. She goes on x4 25 min walks a day. Is this a good food to help her maintain a healthy weight and be active? Thanks!
She is not eating the Natural chicken and sweet potato cans I ordered. She is almost 14 years old. I have tried most of the Senior diet but the chicken and barley makes her belly bloat. She eats canned but due to several teeth removed cannot eat dry. She is a dachshund of normal weight and good health. She is still an active walker.
