My dog has been on a grain free soy free and chicken free food for about 8 months, He is 3 and has been gaining weight. He eats about 1/2 can of food twice a day and maybe a handful of dry food in between. He is never been a very active dog. He is part beagle and part chihuahua. He does have mostly a beagle body Short legs and long body Other than weight, he is healthy. What type of dog food would he need to lose weight
My rescue dog is 4 yrs. and was neutered last year right before we adopted him. He was thin, but now he’s put on 9 #s in less than a year! We’re measuring his food and cut way back ontraining treats. What brand kibble can we feed him that will help him lose weight?
BEST DOG FOOD FOR LOSEING WEIGHT
Getting and has many new Fatty tumors. She has been on Natural Balance Duck,Chicken and Salmon wet food for a long time and Science Diet for years before the Natural Balance she loves the Natural Balance very well but i'm having trouble keeping up with her arthiritis needs.
What is the best food for a 7 to 8 year old pitbull mix who has trouble keeping weight on when price is also an issue?
My 13 yr old male Shih Tzu weight is at 28.6 lbs. What diet food would you reccomend I put him on? Tnx
She is not eating the Natural chicken and sweet potato cans I ordered. She is almost 14 years old. I have tried most of the Senior diet but the chicken and barley makes her belly bloat. She eats canned but due to several teeth removed cannot eat dry. She is a dachshund of normal weight and good health. She is still an active walker.
My terrier mix (DNA pic attached) turns 1 today (estimated birth date-she's a rescue). I feed her Hills Science Diet large breed puppy formula-I would like to transition her to a new food. She is mildly overweight in which she is active but her hips are probably not as defined as they should be. She currently weighs 68Ibs. I would like to transition her to Taste of the Wild Salmon. She goes on x4 25 min walks a day. Is this a good food to help her maintain a healthy weight and be active? Thanks!
Sydney is overweight at 62 lbs. What wet dog food is the best for management. How can I make comparison of different brands when shopping. Trying Purina focus w/m now.
I can't get ahold of Acana light and fit in the USA and my dog has been gaining weight on Acana singles. Should I reduce the food or switch to natural balance fish formula for lower calories?
Hey there, I’m currently feeding my golden retriever 80 lbs, healthy weight salmon performatrin ultra with 376 cals per cup. Would it benefit me to switch her over to Royal Canin golden formula as it has 276 cals per cup!
My dog is overweight & has been eating Blue Turkey & Potato Diet. My vet said to cut his intake from 3/4 cup a day to 1/2 cup & to supplement with green beans or rice cakes. After following this for about a year, he has not lost an ounce! The vet saidto cut his food back more. He is not very active & I cannot entice him to be more active. I am concerned that he is not getting enough nutrition from the small amount of dog food he gets & what is better for weight loss, low fat or calories?
