Ingredients

Hemp seed powder, dired hydrolyzed casein (bovine), l-theanine, melatonin, bone broth gelatin (porcine), chicken, coconut glycerin, mixed tocopherols (natural preservative).

365 Days.

Can be given during or after mealtime. Use 1 chew for every 25 lbs. of dog body weight (example: a 40 lbs. dog would receive 2 chews). Use daily or as needed.

Melatonin Question

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Native Pet Calm for dogs works. My 2 dogs love the taste and eat them with enthusiasm. My concern is for my dog's size versus the dosage. I believe the dosage of Melatonin is too high. I researched and it seems the safe dosage of Melatonin is 1 mg per 20 pound,s so my 50 pound dog should take up to 3 to 6 mg per the research and my 60 pound dog the same. The package instructions read 3 chews for the 50 pound and 60 pound dog which is 15 mg. It seems like my dogs were in a funk for a long while after they each took 3. I do love these chews, but I need help with the discrepancy. They do work, but I give the lowest dose I can.

Is this ok for 5 month old puppies? Sending her to a k9 adventures boarding/training for 3 weeks. It's 4 hours away. I don't want her freaked out with the trainer while he takes her from us for the drive. Lola is german shepherd/boarder collie. 22lbs
