Ordered this to keep my big dog out of the kitchen and I really like the height of the gate. Especially if you’re tall, it’s great. I plan to add some reflective tape so that I don’t forget to step over the bottom at night. I’m able tos eat it so I can swing it both ways. Happy with the purchase. Although it suggest to use the end caps and screw it to the wall, I just pressure mounted it. My dog generally just sees the barrier and never pushes on it, but if your dog jumps or pushes on the gates to get out then I’d advice to screw it in for security.
