My 2 yr old mixed breed (blood hound, lab German shepherd) swallowed a small stuffed toy 2 weeks ago. She passed part of it in a couple days. Monday she passed the body of it and continues to have very loose light colored stool. The Vet wants her stool soft, but I am concerned about the time frame. I am feeding boiled chicken and rice. She is playful when with other dogs, but tires easily on walks. Good appetite, no vomiting.
Gave my dog a new toy today and she decided to eat the fur off of it. I don’t like to give her toys with fur that can come off because she’ll pull it off and eat it. Is it safe as long as she doesn’t consume too much? I’m not sure what would be too much.
