Hello, I have had my beloved cat, Lolly, since kindergarten making her 17 years of age. Recently I retrieved her from my mother's house and noticed her unkempt hair. She now has a surfeit of tangled clumps of matted fur varying in size. How should I proceed, are there any special shampoos or products that would help? I heard they are not supposed to be cut off. My dog is 12 and for the past year a lump has grown pretty big,it’s on her chest at her front paws and now it’s scabbing in 2 places, she hasn’t been off her food and doesn’t seem to be in much pain however the past few weeks she has started doing the toilet in the house during the night, I’ve looked up a price for removing lumps and it’s looking very expensive also I’m not sure if she will survive a big operation. I have 3 Maltipoos who love chewing their beds. We find ourselves buying them all a new bed every couple of weeks. Does anyone know why? One of our dogs gets aggressive with chew toys so the only toys we met them play with alone are tennis balls. Is there any advice or any medical issue that could be the problem? They usually stop destroying the bed once they get all of the stuffing and padding out.
My dog has 3 patches of fur missing from her back due to her biting an itching it alot is their a DYI or cream I can buy at Petco or PetSmart ?
My dog is a maltese/poodle and about 6 yrs. old. He was a rescue from PetCo. We are not active people being in our 70's and have med. conditions but he sometimes gets a run but usually a mild walk. He has been chewing at his front legs to where they are discolored. At his last grooming his eyes became irritated from the eyebrows being shaved too close and he kept rubbing them so I washed them with a boric acid solution made for humans. They seem better but still have the hard gunk on the edges.
